After absolutely adoring Varech, I couldn't resist purchasing this. I'm inclined to believe the inner sleeve is made of sandpaper, as my brand new copy arrived with some serious scratches. The pressing seems quite shallow. There was a minuscule, nearly imperceptible scratch that caused massive pops. Despite that, it sounds fantastic on my high-end setup, much like Varech, although the quality appears to be slightly inferior.
Bought this fresh copy, but on side A, right at the start of the second song, there's a bump in the pressing that causes loud pops. It's quite noticeable and lasts for about a minute. You can even see it right away after taking the record out of the inner sleeve. If you're buying new, steer clear of this pressing, it's better to find a used one in near mint condition instead.
