not a single booklet, sadly - but it sure does sound amazing!
Absolutely adoring this debut press from France. Snag it before it's gone. The vinyl is a fantastic thick 150-160 gauge and sounds flawless, however the sleeve is a tad thin and flimsy. I personally find the Nosferatu acid illustration on this cover more appealing than the other album art featuring silly snaps of Ray.
I had high hopes for this album, and the packaging is awesome. But I’m really let down by how thin and crispy the vocals come across. I initially thought it was sibilance, but that can’t be the case, can it? I know I received my copy early, but has anyone else noticed this?
VMP really outdid themselves with this one...I probably would've missed out on this album, but now I've played it over and over in just the first week and absolutely adore it. Great job!
In my humble opinion, this is one of the greatest releases ever. It's right up there with Moon Safari. Truly, a job well done!
