I hit the jackpot with the copy I recently purchased. Picked it up for a steal at $9.00 from a nearby store. I gave the vinyl a quick glance before buying, and it appeared flawless, and boy, was I right. It's perfectly smooth with barely any imperfections, feels brand new. The sound quality is fantastic - a nice, spacious 3D soundstage with great separation and solid dynamics. It's a tad light on the bass, but hey, that's typical for my early moody blues pressings.
I purchased this record way back in '75, and I'm absolutely in love with it! The guitar playing is out of this world, and the singing is just heavenly! Sounds so crisp and clear.

After giving this a spin, I've gotta say it sounds incredibly flat. There's hardly any bass on "Melancholy Man," one of the greatest songs ever! I'd suggest checking out the "This is the Moody Blues" compilation double-album instead.
Incredible disc, superb soundstage and separation, it's a demo disc for sure.
