The copy I got doesn't have the cd π, which is a bummer 'cause it was a birthday present. But the record itself is awesome, plays super smooth, no skips or noise.
Kanye West's music can be a bit of a mixed bag, with some tracks being fantastic and others falling a bit flat. This album follows that pattern, but with a unique angle. It's all about love, or perhaps more accurately, heartbreak, as the title hints. Kanye opens up and shares his emotions, which is engaging but can become a tad tedious towards the end. If you're going through a rough patch in a relationship or dealing with personal disappointments, this album might resonate and even be therapeutic. However, for casual radio listening, it might not hit the mark. I'm not entirely convinced if this album is a masterpiece or just okay, but it's definitely worth a spin to form your own opinion. Standout tracks include "Welcome To Heartbreak," "Heartless," and "Love Lockdown.
The second LP has a bit of hiss, similar to other Kanye pressings like the second LP from My Beautiful Dark Fantasy, but it still sounds like an improved pressing to me, and I prefer this album anyway, so I'm still giving it 5 stars despite that.
I'm not certain about the release date. It's likely more recent than the 2014 version
Excellent packaging and a well-made pressing. The first couple of tracks had a soundstage that was a tad reserved, but 'Heartless' truly shines.
