Earbox is een uitgebreid en gevarieerd album van de beroemde componist John Adams, uitgebracht op 4 mei 1999 onder het label Nonesuch. Deze vier uur en 57 minuten durende verzameling omvat een breed scala aan stukken, van minimalistische en avant-gardistische werken tot opera-uitvoeringen.
Het album begint met Adams' meesterwerk "Harmonium", een driedelige compositie geïnspireerd door de poëzie van Emily Dickinson en John Donne. Vervolgens volgen "Shaker Loops" en "The Chairman Dances", twee stukken die Adams' unieke minimalistische stijl laten horen.
Een groot deel van het album is gewijd aan Adams' opera "Nixon in China", met een reeks scènes en aria's die de historische ontmoeting tussen de Amerikaanse president Richard Nixon en de Chinese premier Mao Zedong in 1972 verbeelden.
