much better than a fake, pretty good performance and sound quality, i was anticipating a bit less. Even though this stuff has been around for a while i hadn't checked it out and i was definitely missing out, i was wishing for a version of Piece of my heart closer to the album but it's still cool to hear a live take that's got its own vibe.
For any Janis Joplin enthusiast, this album's a must-have. It's nicely pressed and a real treat to listen to, though it's not quite audiophile level, it's still solid. What truly shines is Janis Joplin's incredible performance, and that's why you'll want to grab this one.
