I must say, I'm in stark contrast with the previous review. The arrangements are fantastic, and the musicianship is truly outstanding. This is a wonderful recording with a great stereo image and impressive soundstaging on my Dual, Marantz, and Large Advent setup in the listening room. It's a valuable addition to any collection, and you don't even have to be a Tjader fan to appreciate it. I heard this playing in the store and bought it right away, ahead of two others who also wanted this 1960 edition. Other people in the store were drawn in by the music while they were browsing. By the way, this copy was the clear blue edition. Side one is likely the better of the two.
