In my version, the labels are identical on both sides. "Side one" is printed on each side. Probably a mistake at the factory. But hey, this is yet another amazing album by Frank! The musicianship is top-notch from start to finish. George Duke shines on the electric piano. Frank's compositions are incredible. These guys are right up there with the best!
This reissue is absolutely perfect, with a robust tip on the jacket, beautifully reproduced cover art, a proper poly-lined inner sleeve, and an outstanding pressing. Bernie Grundman's mastering, all analog from tape to lathe, is breathtaking...the detail and soundstage width are top-notch. If you can, go for the deluxe edition, but I'm sure the standard black vinyl will be just as amazing.
As of the 7th of October, 2023, the Sound Of Vinyl site in the UK has 27 copies available of this vinyl record, going for a very fair £29.99. No issues with channel noise or any hissing to report.
Wow! It's possible that this has even more bass than the other CD versions I've heard. The soundstage is incredibly wide!
omg sooo great one of the best sounding albums i own
