After the intro of "Sorry, we're sorry!", I initially thought Die Toten Hosen were going to do comedy, but they just want to apologise. For what? For a brilliant album? That would be absurd! This record has it all again: provocative songs ("Lesbian, black disabled people" and "Bavaria"), punk rock ("Sunday at the zoo") and solid rock music ("All as usual"). Even the English-language track "Call of the wild" somehow fits in. Notably, Campino & the lads are finally growing up, as this album is top-notch in terms of songwriting. Just listen to "What we live for", "Heroes and thieves", "Container song", "Our house" and "Infinity". At the beginning of "Heroes and thieves", you might even think of Metallica. Otherwise, these guys probably don't need any comparisons anymore, do they? They even develop new music styles like shanty-punk-rock in "Why can't I get enough?" and cheekily call interludes "Inter-sex".
