I purchased one and I believe it weighs under 180 grams. The audio quality is decent.
I'm not too keen on this remix version - it's taken from the DVD-A and not the original stereo mix. The vocals have a bit more reverb and the bass seems weak on most of the songs. Disappointingly, it's also the one that's most commonly found on streaming services.
The sound quality is a tad dull and murky. The instruments and vocals seem squished & blurred, making it hard to pick out individual elements or appreciate the intricacies. There's a hint of surface noise, but overall, the pressing is quite alright. The folks at the pressing plant could've mixed the audio more expertly before production. It's not the worst, nor is it bad. It just doesn't quite live up to its potential. I've got the limited edition, numbered blue vinyl too, and it sounds a smidge better than the black one. The tracks are fantastic, as expected. It is an Alanis album, after all.
I absolutely adore this album and was happily surprised by how fantastic this version sounds, particularly after checking out some of the other reviews. There was hardly any surface noise that I could detect, and it has a very rich and dynamic sound. As this is my all-time favorite Alanis album, I'm thrilled to finally have it in my collection.
