Absolutely love this one. Both this and the Capital reissue are fantastic additions. It's definitely taking the place of my old, battered copy.
This is easily one of the top records in my collection. I was hoping to wait and maybe one day find an original copy in decent condition (you never know if that would even happen), but I decided to go ahead with this pressing and I'm really happy I did.
In the 50's and 60's, Louis and Keely were the epitome of VEGAS, dominating the scene in the Sahara's lounge. They were an absolute blast to watch and listen to, and their "LIVE" albums are some of the finest ever pressed on vinyl. Louis penned some monumental hits over the years, but what truly set them apart was his longtime backup singer and the incredible band, Sam Butera and the Witnesses. These guys were off the charts amazing, performing with Keely and Louis from midnight till sunrise, show after show in the Casbar Lounge. This album is a stellar showcase of Louis and Keely's magnetic charm, just like all their Capitol LPs. It's genuine Las Vegas history right here!
