Among my top picks from Horner's work, right up there with Legends of the Fall and Jumanji, is The Perfect Storm soundtrack. Now that I've finally got myself a turntable, I'm really glad I gave it a spin. The red and black marble design is quite something, I must say.
Fantastic record! I might be one of the few, but I'd always wished this soundtrack would make it to vinyl. MOV, as always, does an amazing job with a super quiet pressing (which is key for the softer parts of the music). The record quality is top-notch and the marbling is really nice, but not too over the top. Only 1,000 copies made, according to the hype sticker, so grab one while you can. Highly recommend!
The sound quality of this record is absolutely fantastic. I couldn't detect any surface noise on my copy. Plus, the vinyl's red and black marbled design is really eye-catching. If you're into the soundtrack, go ahead and grab this copy without any doubts.
