This album is absolutely fantastic. I'd often put it on when tucking my little ones in for the night. The vinyl copy is crisp and peaceful. I'm thrilled to have it on record, but it doesn't offer anything extra compared to the digital version I've been enjoying for ages. I was kind of expecting that special warmth and depth that vinyl sometimes brings out.
Gorgeous crisp sound. Odd pressing on this one though. It’s not so much TRI, more like a blob. Great press, seems quite unique. Lovely and definitely worth getting before prices go up!
First aid kit's debut, the lion's roar, is a fantastic country folk exploration of youth navigating life. The harmonies are truly something special, and the girls nail them perfectly. The tracks have stood the test of time, I'd even call them timeless. This vinyl version is really impressive, quiet, flat, and free from any harsh sibilance.
I'm really happy with the pressing and sound quality! The artwork on this vinyl is awesome, so distinctive, it's a must-have for any first aid kit enthusiast's collection.
Amazing album. However, just like their usual releases, this one is quite underwhelming and sounds like a CD that was hastily pressed onto vinyl. Come on, you can do better!
