Finally released on CD, but the mastering's not top-notch. It feels a bit muffled, like the highs are being held back. Did they apply noise reduction here? Perhaps? Not certain, but it sure sounds like it.

I truly believe that the most beloved holiday tunes of all time hail from the 1940's, 50's, and 60's. Since then, holiday music just hasn't quite hit the same note. This album by Jack Jones is one of my all-time favorites that I spin every year while putting up the Christmas tree or even during my holiday shopping trips. Jack serves up a fantastic array of Christmas classics, just as only he can. If you get the chance, I'd strongly suggest grabbing this album.
