Richard's guitar is an absolute riot on the instrumental bits with Rhodri. That harp, all cranked up, makes a hell of a noise, perfectly balancing Richard's mind-blowing guitar shredding. Those instrumental tracks give you a breather from the songs that are almost too much to handle, with Richard hitting incredible highs, gutting you with the raw pain of everyday life. Words can't do justice to how vital this album, The Magic Bridge, and Nothing Important are. Catch his live show whenever possible, it's a transformative experience.
