Side 3 deserves a Netflix documentary all to it's own. Absolutely phenomenal, 5 star track...
Haven't had a chance to watch the film yet, but I took a chance and bought it anyway because of the main composer, Alexandre Desplat (you know, the guy behind "The Shape of Water" and tons of other incredible works). The sound quality and packaging are absolutely worth more than what I paid. The soundtrack features a diverse mix of genres and artists, but every track blends seamlessly when you play it on your turntable.
Desplat e Anderson formano un duo straordinario. Come in ogni opera del regista, anche in questo film la creazione del supporto sonoro alla storia e alla resa visiva dell'universo di Anderson risulta perfettamente bilanciata. Desplat, in effetti, collega tra loro le varie scene come fossero fotografie.
following what felt like an eternity -- well, okay, just 5 months -- of patience and a few shipping setbacks... it's here at last. it was a blast. it's a hoot to get these musical throwbacks from the movie.
The albums sound fantastic and the tunes are awesome... but, they were poorly trimmed and the sides are rough. A tad letdown but I'm happy they at least sound good!
