This album is amazing, it's super engaging for me, I'd even say it's more Avant-garde than free, but that's just nitpicking. They're definitely building on a melody and venturing into post bop. I'm thrilled I discovered this, I knew it'd be fascinating! Side two is fantastic, I've played this record many times now and it always makes me nod along. What a cool record!
