5 stars, and here's the reason why: I own a few Milt Jackson albums, but I always find myself going back to this compilation—it's got all the fantastic tracks I adore. The quality is pretty impressive (if close to mint), except for 'Plenty Soul,' but that's because of the original recording's imbalance. And I absolutely love the gatefold design and those gazette-paper sleeves with the ads, mmmm...
