Product Description

"Steal This Album!" by System of a Down is a raw, unfiltered burst of energy that encapsulates the essence of the band's unique blend of nu metal, alternative metal, and rap metal. Released on November 26, 2002, under American/Columbia, this album is a testament to the band's ability to fuse complex rhythms, thought-provoking lyrics, and an explosive sound that is distinctly their own. With a runtime of just 43 minutes, the album is a whirlwind of intensity, featuring tracks like "Chic 'N' Stu," "A.D.D. (American Dream Denial)," and "Fuck the System," which showcase the band's signature style and unapologetic approach to music. The album's title itself is a bold statement, reflecting the band's rebellious spirit and their refusal to conform to industry norms. "Steal This Album!" is not just a collection of songs; it's a powerful statement from System of a Down, delivered with their characteristic ferocity and creativity.

This is a 2018 Reissue released as a 2LP set.

  • Red One, Poor Sound Quality

    1 out of 5 stars
    msenzitohewed8 November 2025United States🇺🇸

I got the red one... perfect condition and a really nice color, but the sound is awful, just like others have said, it's super loud with a lot of surface noise and the sound quality is terrible...

  • Poor Sound Quality Despite Good LPs

    2 out of 5 stars
    xiahrumuf16 October 2025United States🇺🇸

I'm giving this release a mere 2 out of 5 stars solely because the LPs are flawless, with a glossy black finish and pristine, deep grooves that I checked right out of the sealed packaging. However, the sound quality of my copy is an absolute catastrophe. It generally sounds like a heavily compressed 128kbps MP3, with severe clipping and sibilance issues. It's significantly worse than the CD version, which I also own and compared it to using the same setup. It's genuinely no fun to listen to; it's harsh, and the more intense the band gets, the more it distorts and clips. For instance, the first two choruses of "I-E-A-I-A-I-O" are riddled with distortion and clipping from both the toms and the guitars. I'm considering returning it, but I'm worried about receiving an even worse copy. Has anyone else noticed these same issues?

  • Pixelated Artwork, Great Sound

    4 out of 5 stars
    VayfiBF14 September 2025United States🇺🇸

Just like others have said, the sound quality is fantastic on this pressing. But, the artwork on the cover is super pixelated, which is a bummer.

  • Отличная запись, но обрыв

За 30 секунд до завершения "Streamline" трек обрывается, но в целом запись отличная

  • Best SOAD Album Ever

    5 out of 5 stars
    gdoikunfgnux599029 July 2025United States🇺🇸

I gotta say, this is hands down the best-sounding SOAD album out there. The audio quality is just phenomenal. Lucky for me, it's also my top pick from their discography! Plus, you get a ton more artwork than the original CD version. I'm talking lyrics, liner notes, the whole shebang. This re-release is truly a winner.
