Michel Portal's 'Aquellos Del Otro Lado' is among my top picks, coming just two years after his legendary 'Alors !!!' on Futura Records. This album absolutely stunned me. With Barre Phillips on double bass, Pierre Favre handling drums, and Gérard Marais on guitar... it's incredibly free-spirited, super intense, yet absolutely fantastic. Not something everyone will appreciate.
