This album is absolutely breathtaking. The sound is vast and immersive, with Freeman at his best, tackling well-known tracks. You can sense the musicians restraining themselves, gradually amping up the tension and drama in these familiar melodies. It somehow harks back to a bygone era—more reminiscent of the early 60s than a late 70s release.
One of the finest in my collection! The ultimate record for sax testing ever — all in the room, deep, 3D, and full of rich tones. This album is absolutely stunning, some of the best audio I've got, wow, wow, wow.
Vinyl's quiet, great dynamics, warm tone. Everything sounds fantastic, McBee especially. Would definitely suggest.
I've never heard a record that sounds this incredible. It's hard to fathom how it captures such instant impact and clarity. No issues with warp here. It's absolutely flawless.
