Dionne Warwick is certainly an artist whose album collection can be a tad inconsistent. Boasting an incredibly gifted voice, she was often featured on mid-paced Bacharach tunes that appealed to the more mature music enthusiasts of the time. But this particular album is truly exceptional. Her vocals shine on these faster-paced tracks, and the overall atmosphere is simply captivating.
Dionne Warwick is that kind of artist whose album collection is somewhat inconsistent. A incredibly gifted singer, her skills were mostly put to use on mid-paced Bacharach tunes that appealed to the older hipsters of the time. But this album here, it really stands out.
