In general, the audio is super clear and sharp, though there's a big jump in the track around the 40 second mark.
Only a couple of reviews here, but I gotta chime in – this one's awesome! Bit of surface noise, but it's crisp and sounds fantastic! 😎 (Way better than the second act, for sure)
Recorded across 4 studios, mixed at 4 more, mastered at the renowned Sterling Sound, featuring a cast of hundreds... and what does Qobuz offer? Just 16-Bit / 44.1 kHz. I might as well have grabbed a used CD from the bargain bin for three bucks. Maybe it's not Qobuz's fault - they just sell what they're given. But surely, the mighty Qobuz should have some influence. For the past 30+ years, 99.9% of albums are mastered at least in 24-Bit / 96-kHz, sometimes even 32-Bit / 192-kHz. I'm certain this could've been released in 24-Bit / 96-kHz at the very least. Downloaded albums should give us more than what a CD can. Sorry if I'm preaching to the choir...
The Singular Act 1 colored UO edition is absolutely stunning and delivers fantastic sound quality. Everything works perfectly. It's just as impressive as the regular black version.
