Product Description

Max Lichtegg's "Settings of Heine" is a captivating exploration of the intersection between Gregorian chant and opera, released in 1963 under the BNF Collection label. This concise yet profound collection spans just 40 minutes, offering a unique blend of sacred and operatic influences that showcase Lichtegg's distinctive musical voice.

The album features a diverse array of tracks, including settings of Heinrich Heine's poetry, such as "Die Loreley" and "Schwanengesang," as well as compositions from other notable works like "Romanzen und Balladen" and "Myrten."
