Audio's alright. Spacious sound field. Lots of surface noise though, but it's priced well!
This album is somewhat of a mixed bag. The mastering could've been handled better. From "Follow Your Arrow" to "It Is What It Is", the audio feels a bit off, with a flat and shallow soundstage, and the overall sound is somewhat compressed and muddy. The rest of the tracks are mostly fine. There's some noticeable crackling throughout, but it's quite faint and doesn't really bother me. It's definitely not an audiophile-quality release, but that's okay. I'm quite happy with it, as the lyrics are fantastic, and there isn't a single bad song on the entire album. I do wish the sound quality was better, but I'll take it as it is.
Really blown away by this one! I had the regular version before, traded it in ages ago, and been regretting it ever since. So glad I got this now - it sounds fantastic and the packaging is top-notch, absolutley adore the hue!
a few pops between songs but apart from that, it's great! i'm all for kacey releasing these anniversary editions but i also DESPISE it because do i really need a 3 copies of this album 🙄
NOW this is what I call a pressing! It sounds INCREDIBLE and looks just as good!
