Delighted to verify...this is incredible. Hardly any surface noise on my version. AN budget-friendly and superb sounding reissue of this fantastic album by a fantastic band. Grab all of appleseed cast's albums!!!

I did a comparison between my original 2009 version, which spins at 33 rpm, and this 45 rpm release. Honestly, the original one blew me away. I wasn't expecting that, considering the speed difference. Given the price of the original black vinyl on Discogs, I'd suggest going for that one instead. It's more engaging, has a wider soundstage, and packs more punch. My setup: Thorens TD160, Ortofon 2M Black, Yaquin pre-amp with JJ gold pin tubes, NAD 3200 amp, Acoustic Research AR5 speakers.
