This is the absolute standout in my collection! I'm head over heels for every track and the artwork on this vinyl.
Checked out this version next to the EU 2018 black vinyl one. Gotta admit, the zoetrope release is superior - it's louder and has more punch (no remastering details found, but it surely sounds remastered). There were a few pops and clicks here and there, but it doesn't ruin the experience. Definitely a must-have.
In my view, this isn't something you absolutely need to have. It's got some artwork and a few poems, but it's not as detailed or extensive as I'd hoped. They could've probably just sold it as a coloring book and it would've been alright. Plus, the CD just lying loose without any pocket or holder is super annoying because it keeps falling out whenever you move it.
The envelope's quality is great, but my record's sound is kind of flat on my normal settings where other albums sound better. It might just be an issue with my setup. Apart from that, it's a good record.
The recording quality is decent, not outstanding. There's a bit of background noise, but it's not a bad buy, particularly at a price point of $35.
