  • Jazz Meets Bach

    5 out of 5 stars
    rzqewmfuq21 June 2025United States🇺🇸

I recall seeing the Jacques Loussier trio on a TV show where they performed different tracks from their Play Bach albums, and I was amazed that Bach's music could blend so well with jazz. Their arrangements stay quite true to Bach's original compositions, and the improvisations are really refined, even clever at times. The recording has a bit of a scratchy sound, but it's still enjoyable to listen to.

My version is very alike to this one (cover and tag are the same), apart from mine being a zlp11 / zlp12 pressing.
