Ordered this from Amazon US and was disappointed to see it didn’t include the slipcase like before. But apart from that, awesome album!!
I'm absolutely in love with this deluxe CD version of Rita Ora's fantastic new album. It's packed with 5 smash hit singles that topped the European charts. Every single track is an infectious synth pop masterpiece. This is the essence of pop music, not that rubbish hip hop stuff cluttering the Billboard Hot 100 right now. It climbed to #9 on the USA iTunes charts and #11 on the UK top 100 album charts. Rita is a top-tier pop artist, and she truly shines, especially here in the USA.
I'm at a loss. This album was recorded in a staggering 21 studios across 3 countries and at least 5 cities, mixed in 3 studios, and mastered in 6 studios (YES, EVEN ABBEY ROAD WAS INVOLVED). It involved over 10 production coordinators, 16 vocalists, and 14 engineers, yet Qobuz releases it in 16-Bit / 44.1 kHz. Maybe it's not Qobuz's fault (they sell what they're given), but I'm still steaming mad. For the past 30+ years, almost every album has been mastered in at least 24-Bit / 96-kHz, sometimes even 32-Bit / 192-kHz. I'm certain this could've been released in at least 24-Bit / 96-kHz. Downloads should offer more than what a CD can. Sorry if I'm preaching to the choir...
