My record plays just fine, without any 'sandpaper' or scratchy noises. Anyone who experienced that likely got a pressing with no fill, a defect that seems to happen way too frequently nowadays. Apart from that, the records are monophonic, with both the bass and treble sounding muted. The mastering engineers probably cut out all the treble, since there was probably just noise up there anyway.
After only experiencing the dodgy 90s CD version, this edition is truly impressive. Every side of my copy is super quiet and Aguirre nailed it with the original material and the packaging.
Can anyone share some info on the pressing quality? Also, how about the sleeve? Is it a quality re-release? Much appreciated for any updates!
