In his second album, <I>Our Girl in Havana</I>, Buscemi makes a comeback. Latin influences take center stage this time around (“Spooky Samba” is packed with percussion, while “La Musica De Ayer Con El Sonido De Hoy” is loaded with guitars), yet the jazz and house vibes remain as strong as ever (“Calling All Drama Queens” or “The Salon Section”). Overall, this album is way more powerful and polished than <I>Mocha Supremo</I> -- you can really hear how Buscemi's sound is growing. If he keeps evolving like this, the sky's the limit for him.

Oh my goodness...this guy is so baaaad! He gave a awful concert in Ghet (Brussels), where all of his so-called "art" was to slap a "chumbawunba-chummba" beats on supposed brazilian rythms. Oh... please, why can't this guy just leave the magic of bossa-nova alone? Into Brazilllian music? Vinicious de Moraes, Gilberto Gil. Into New Brazilllian music? Vinicius Cantuaria or Suba.
