The color is absolutely gorgeous and this vinyl is likely the flattest in my collection. There's no popping or surface noise at all. Plus, I think the alternate cover is way better than the original one.
I'm right there with the reviews that said this should've been given the official track order treatment with a repress and remaster, but I'm still stoked about this release. It's super dynamic and punchy. Plus, that etching on Side D is adorable. As someone who passed on the first pressings, this was a sweet grab to finally have the ultimate Orquídeas album on vinyl, even if the deluxe track order's a tad different.
I'd have preferred if the track order matched the digital version and the album was spread across all four sides. Knowing it was just the original release with bonus tracks added onto their own LP, and the other side left empty, I might have skipped buying it.
Kali's got me hooked, no doubt about it. But this time, they just squished the regular version and tossed in an extra disc with a blank D side. I mean, they didn't even bother to create a new master to match the track list on the streaming platforms.
I can't find any info about where this was initially sold, apart from what's on this page.
