This edition was a bit of a disappointment. To start with, it's ridiculously overpriced. BRL 250 (and that's without shipping) is a steep cost for just one disc. At this price point, I was hoping for at least a gatefold. Honestly, even imported double discs are more budget-friendly than this. Secondly, the cover is an eyesore. Plus, the tracks closer to the center don't sound great. I'm aware that this is a common issue with vinyl, but in this case, the drop in quality is quite noticeable. That being said, the disc itself is stunning. I've never seen this particular shade of blue before. There's minimal surface noise and hardly any crackling. As expected, Bethânia shines in this album, just like she does in everything she does. Her vocals are truly exceptional.
This particular release was somewhat disappointing. Initially, the price tag is quite steep. BRL 250 (excluding shipping) seems excessive for a single disc. At this cost, I anticipated at least a gatefold. Surprisingly, even imported double discs are more budget-friendly. Secondly, the cover art is rather unattractive. Lastly, the tracks closer to the center have noticeable quality issues. I'm aware that this is a common vinyl problem, but in this edition, the quality degradation is quite evident. That being said, the disc itself is stunning. I've never encountered this specific shade of blue before. There's minimal surface noise and almost no audible crackling. As expected, Bethânia delivers an exceptional performance, and this album is no exception. Her vocals are truly great.
This album release was a bit of a disappointment. To begin with, the price is way too high. Shelling out BRL 250 (and that's not even including shipping) for a single disc seems steep. At this price point, I'd have hoped for at least a gatefold sleeve. Honestly, even importing double discs is more budget-friendly than this. Secondly, the cover art is downright ugly. Lastly, the tracks near the center don't sound great. I get that this is a common issue with vinyl, but in this edition, the quality drop is quite noticeable. That being said, the disc itself is stunning. I've never come across this particular shade of blue before. There's minimal surface noise and hardly any crackling to be heard. As always, Bethânia delivers with her performance, and this album is no exception. Her vocals are, as expected, fantastic.
