  The vocal record doesn't sound all that good. The singing isn't very crisp. Probably a poor pressing. The electronic album, though, sounds like a better copy. The audio feels more vibrant.

  Got two albums in one purchase. Funny thing, I ended up liking the Electronic one more than the Vocal. It really fit the French DJ vibe, with a touch of Daft Punk and Justice. The pressing was a tad off center, but it didn't mess with the sound quality.

  I picked this up for the Avicii collab, turns out that was the sole highlight on the electronic album. The rest of the tracks are eerily alike, it's like listening to the same song over and over. The Pop LP is kinda fun, it's interesting to hear what's clogging up the radio on vinyl. I reckon it should've been a 4xLP, more room on the record would've boosted the sound quality. It's got that CD vibe, not quite vinyl, but it's better than an MP3..... I'm not sure it's worth the $30 I dropped, but if you're into Guetta, why not give it a shot....

  You might not be a fan of Guetta's style, but you can't deny his persistence paid off. He stuck to his sound for years, then suddenly it blew up, leading to collaborations with global pop stars and massive earnings. It's puzzling why the dance music scene resents success so much. His music never bothered me, perhaps because I grew up on 90s Eurodance, and this feels like a natural progression. Sure, I miss the more playful tracks from his earlier work, like ATOMIC FOOD or DISTORTION, but this album is a solid dance-pop effort. It's not revolutionary, just a decent addition to the genre. The bonus disc has some tracks that aren't top 40 material but still fit the big room and EDM festival vibe. Apart from the Acid track GLASGOW, it's not particularly memorable. As I said, you don't have to like it, but there's not much to criticize here. Is it groundbreaking? Not really. Is it bad? Not at all.
