This is absolutely phenomenal, both in sound and musicality! It's not exactly background music, but for progressive rock fans, you might even call it progressive jazz! There's a mix of avant-garde and post-bop jazz elements here. A fantastic blend, really. Pullen and Tony Williams are just incredible on this!
This one truly stands out as the top in sound quality from the Blue Note Classic Vinyl Series so far. The dynamics are incredible, bursting with energy. It's crystal clear and clean, not a single pop or tick to be heard. Absolutely flawless!
