Raye's talent shines through on this album, it's absolutely flawless! The audio quality is fantastic, with a great sound stage and balance. I totally agree about the variant, they're definitely among the clearest I own, and they're well-made too! This LP is becoming quite rare in Europe, so if you can find one, don't hesitate to grab it!

Fantastic pressing, fantastic album, fantastic performance, truly stunning. So real and easy to connect with. The pressing itself is stunning and sounds really really good, there were no initial scratches or skips, the silence sounds, well… silent.
Just caught this show on telly – it was incredibly honest, touching, flawlessly executed. RAYE and the Heritage Orchestra have taken her award-winning 21st Century Blues album and crafted a symphonic masterpiece. This isn't just her personal best; collectively, it's a peak achievement in music. Watching on TV, I loved when the cameras showed the audience, mouths agape, some in tears, all utterly captivated. The Royal Albert Hall, being (basically) circular, despite its size, is an intimate venue – you often find yourself looking across the crowd at fellow listeners. This grand, round design unites everyone, performers and audience alike. The RAH is one of my top spots for live music, and some of the more emotional performances, like this one, truly shine in this setting. It must've been incredible to be there, experiencing this artist, the accompanying orchestra, and the numerous backup singers, all clearly having a blast. There were so many standout moments, including RAYE's personal anecdotes before each track. I had to wait for Black Mascara, and it didn't disappoint – I even cranked up the volume a bit. I adore how the chorus lyrics intensely repeat and transition from “what you done to me” > “You’re done to me”. So clever. These lyrics sum up much of what RAYE sings about – pain, mistreatment, rising above it (all while rocking a blue sparkly gown, complete with costume change). All delivered with warmth, all delivered with honesty. + I can't resist the dance element of this track. I've just ordered the red vinyl from RAYE's website . . . and this is still quite early in her career. Where does she go from here?
raye is a phenomenal artist and this live record is absolutely fantastic. The orchestra sounds crisp and vivid on some truly excellent red see-through vinyl.
