sound better than Enjoy The Ride Records's us version 0
Amazing solid pressing. No surface noise, no crackling or clicks, it's almost perfect (the best sounding one of the 2025 repress is the Falling into Infinity one).
This is a really solid pressing of a sonically incredible album. These Rhino clear pressings are usually top-notch (the 2023 Yes - Fragile repress is one of the best sounding records within my collection, probably the best vinyl pressing of that album I've ever heard and I've owned so many different copies of that album in the past) so I was pretty confident that this was gonna blow me away. And it did! There was only one track that I experienced issues with. Unfortunately when it got to Through Her Eyes it just sounded awful, so much sibilance that it became distracting. It ended up dissolving into this really distorted mess at the end of Side B. Aside from that you can really hear every single instrument, especially if you listen with a pair of headphones. Great stuff. I currently don't own any other pressings of this album on vinyl or even on CD but this sounded really good to me! If you love this album consider picking up this pressing. Great quality for the price.
Finally found it at a discount 40 euros! Listining right now.. wow what a good pressing sound is so clear.Talking about clear this vinyl is absolutely beautiful clear silver vinyl.Don't hesitate waiting to buy it. First time having a Rhino Pressing.
Not that it matters much, as I assume we’ll never see a remix, but this is brickwalled to death. Very little dynamics, LP 2 is a bit better. Shame as I feel this is one of James’s best vocal performances and some of the best music they made. But then when you allow Kevin Shirley to mix this is what happens, just really a bad job. I bought this on release, I have #687.
