I'm not particularly into this album right now, but I gotta admit, this pressing is fantastic!
Right now, I'm not too into this album, but I gotta admit, this pressing is awesome!
In my view, side one is absolutely fantastic...side two, not so much...but the pressing is flat, quiet, and well done. It's proof that heavy weight doesn't necessarily mean better sound..it's more about your turntable and platter, in my opinion. Recorded LOUD so brace yourself for a rockin' experience. Melodic rock tracks all the way through. Side two is more "deep cut Nirvana vibes" which is cool but I've got to be in the right mood...LOL. I can't help but chuckle at all the "big box" stores selling records again...but...it seems their buying power and desire for low returns pushes the pressing plants to do a really good job... perhaps?
All good things to say about this. Looks fantastic. Sounds fantastic.
With live music on hold, my favorite band drops an album like this and you gotta ask, why aren't they headlining the Super Bowl?! Purple Swirl is unlike anything else, and this vinyl sounds incredible – so crisp and clear with amazing separation. You've gotta grab this on vinyl, trust me!
