Joining in with the crowd here. They really went all out with this one, and it's clear they put their heart into it. If you're into this album, you'll absolutely adore it!
I ain't got the 1995 original to match it up with, but I'm pretty pleased with this copy. The tan records are a fresh look compared to the standard black ones. The bass hits just right, not too loud like in that All Eyez digital remix. No skips or crackles, it's a solid pressing overall. Only thing I'd change is making it a gatefold, they did that for 2Pacalypse Now and Strictly, so I dunno why they skipped it here.
I'm really happy with my copy, it sounds fantastic! I've got nothing to complain about at all.
Soundstage is fantastic, nearly perfect! I'm a bigger fan of the alternate artwork over the original one. The Midnight Mist vinyl color is really appealing.
Can anyone explain why this record has so many problems? I received two replacements, and disc 1, side A still sounded terrible. When the mp3 version sounds better, that's a real letdown. Track 3 on disc 2, side A, “can u get away” is scratched twice too. Finally ordered from a different shop, and disc 1/A still sounds awful. It's such an amazing album, it's a shame this pressing wasn't handled with more care.
