LIVIN' FOR YOU stands tall as a worthy successor to CALL ME, an album many regard as Al Green's finest work. Standout tracks like "Let's Get Married", "Home Again", "Unchained Melody", and the incredible final track, "Beware", truly shine. The sound quality on this pressing is impressive, with punchy percussion and horns, and a lively soundstage. My copy plays smoothly, though there's a small skip somewhere on side one, and a bit of light surface noise here and there.
