An unfiltered, slightly unpolished but gripping live performance recording! It's evident that Brubeck and the band gave it their all to maximize the trio's potential following Paul Desmond’s mishaps that led to him missing the Vienna flight! Crank up the volume for this one and savor the front row vibe!
Despite Paul Desmond's absence, Dave Brubeck, along with Eugene Wright and Joe Morello, put on a fantastic performance. The record's sound quality and pressing are top-notch, and the liner notes are incredibly detailed.
