Finally got around to spinning this vinyl after the concert. What an incredible album, wish I'd listened to it back in the day, but better late than never! Hard to believe it's been so long since he passed, lucky I got to see him live at the Forum, what, 20 years back? James Brown's music will always be with us!
This live performance is absolutely fantastic, the band is incredibly in sync, Brown is electrifying, and the crowd is amazing. Unbelievable that it took half a century to come out as it was meant to be. It's a solid concert recording, and I have no complaints about this version. There's plenty of bass, and decent stereo imaging. My copy was bought brand new and plays with barely any surface noise, except for a couple of slight pops during the intro to "World".
Fantastic version! The Godfather of soul delivers a no less than incredible live show.

Does anyone happen to know where this US version was pressed? The matrix doesn't align with the EU Optimal Media pressing of James Brown - Live At Home With His Bad Self, but the sound is clean and crisp.
