The show and the albums truly deliver fantastic sound quality. However, Side D on both my and a friend's copy is filled with lots of tiny dents. My record has around two dozen scattered across the latter part.
Willie Nelson, our President. Paul English, Vice. That's all that needs to be said. Willie's debut in Japan is like a glimpse back in time, showcasing one of country music's greats at his finest. Every track is a winner, from the thunderous opening of 'Whiskey River' to incredible performances of Kristofferson's timeless tunes like 'Me and Bobby McGee' and 'Help Me Make It Through the Night', plus all the other fantastic covers and classics Willie's famous for. The Willie Nelson Family brings it all together, telling stories of love, heartbreak, and outlaws, with Bobbie Nelson's (RIP) piano, Mickey Raphael's soul-stirring harmonica, and Willie's own gravelly yet gentle voice. If Record Store Day had a 'must-have' for this Black Friday, this would be it without a doubt.
