Gorgeous record and packaging. The vinyl is incredibly silent. It's like they're performing live in your space.
I'm thrilled to finally have this Dexter Gordon album! "Love Locked Out" is an fantastic track, and this record was shockingly ignored for remastering/re-release until now. My copy came in perfect condition, with the jacket looking great. The gatefold packaging is gorgeous; I really appreciate the photos included in these Tone Poet gatefold editions. There's an original essay on the back cover. The sound quality is incredible! The title track is a fantastic original Dexter Gordon piece, while the rest of the album showcases compositions by other artists. I'm really into the overall vibe of this record: a collection of mostly upbeat tunes that flow well together. As I mentioned, "Love Locked Out" alone is worth the price of this album, but I'm loving every track.
