Great sound quality on this flat pressing! It's awesome to have some Jackie Mittoo tracks included. The only downside is that the records arrived in really static-y paper sleeves.

Tracking down Mittoo's music on vinyl that sounds great is no easy task, so having this double album re-released in a sweet gatefold cover on blue vinyl is a real delight. The mastering job is top-notch...a lot of those mono tracks have this massive soundstage...the audio is as lively as I've ever heard these songs...all without that heavy noise reduction messing up the quality. Snag this while you can...it might be another two decades before we see it again!
