Absolutely stunning LP that sounds even more incredible on vinyl than it does on CD. The polyliner sleeves were a bit tricky to remove from the single sleeve jacket - I wish they'd used a gatefold instead!
Great album, but "II" just doesn't hit the same high notes as "Kiasmos".
Audio quality is superb. Each disc is perfectly flat, free from any surface disturbances, and boasts impressive dynamics and separation. They arrived in poly lined sleeves, which was a nice touch. My only gripe is that it's not a gatefold edition. Apart from that, VMP has done an outstanding job. Incredibly intricate pressing, boasting a lush sound with profound bass and crisp mid and high tones. Setting up my phono stage was a bit of a hassle, but the effort was absolutely rewarding. Gorgeous album. Played on a ProJect Essential 2 turntable with an Ortofin OM20 cartridge. ProJect Phono Box DS2 USB. Denon amplifier and Bowers & Wilkins 600 Series speakers.
