The veteran percussionist and the rising bass clarinet sensation prove that age ain't nothing but a number when it comes to creativity. Their sound is powerful, yet mostly tuneful. Unrestrained, yet it's got plenty of structure. Absolutely stunning music from these two. The record's quality is out of this world. I can't wrap my head around how a tiny indie label like ICP can churn out a vinyl this top-notch, presumably on a shoestring budget. If I could, I'd give it 11 out of 5 stars, no doubt about it!
