Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
Funny enough, it's more enjoyable as a full album than as individual tracks. Can't quite put my finger on why, but it just is...!
Fantastic sounding record. A top-notch album by the talented songwriting brothers Gibb (except the final track, which isn't a Gibb composition). Steve Gadd handles the drums.
Here's another return album, crafted by the Bee Gees who'd just seen global triumph with Barbra Streisand and their project, The Guilty. The main track and initial single, Heartbreaker, became Dionne's top-selling and highest-ranking UK smash, peaking at No2 towards the end of 1982. Its successor, All The Love In The World, climbed to No10 in the early part of 1983.
This album is definitely up there among my all-time favorites. It's one of those that just flows perfectly from start to finish, making it an absolute joy to listen to. The production is top-notch, with that unmistakable Barry Gibb touch. And the sound quality on this pressing? Absolutely fantastic.
Dionne delivers her finest work here. The pressing is superb, the audio quality is top-notch, and the packaging is excellent.
