Since 2020, I've been let down by most records I've bought, but this one truly stands out! The quality is impressively high with minimal surface noise, hardly any clicks or pops, and no warped discs to speak of. Plus, the blue and black vinyl is absolutely gorgeous. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for more Sony Classical releases! As for the music, Bear has once again exceeded all expectations with this one!
Overall, the sound is fantastic. But, there's some noticeable surface noise and occasional clicks. I also had to turn up the volume on my receiver way more than I did for the original game's soundtrack.
This isn't the quietest pressing I've come across. All three records have pops and clicks, with the second one (C-D) also having some distortion in the left channel of track 2 and 3 on D. Apart from that, this is such a fantastic and moving soundtrack.
Side F starts off with a annoying pop noise that lasts for at least 10 seconds. Happily, it stops. The record's artwork and packaging are really nice. Overall, the sound quality is good.
I've never listened to a record that sounded so incredible, not a single hiss, pop, or crackle. Shame the cover's « too plain » though.
