This particular pressing is truly stunning, to start off with. Moreover, the sound quality of this record is top-notch. Not a single hint of surface noise on my copy. It's been mastered to perfection. The bass is rich and the highs are incredibly crisp.
A touch of crackle that got better (though it didn't vanish entirely after a wet clean), but the actual pressing sounds fantastic. Way more depth than other Vola pressings, crisp and punchy with solid bass distinction. Awesome album as well.
This new album from the band is fantastic overall. It's more polished and has a really great energy level. The mastering is quite clean with no surface noise. It's a bit less open and transparent than the digital version and not quite what I was expecting.
